Trail Network Overview
New		Trail descriptions are subjective and can change due to construction etc. Some trails are conditional road bike using some detours.

Notes	Some trails may be a mixture of surfaces from start to end. I will try to separate codes in those cases.  Sometimes street alternatives exist.
Code	Name	Description
R	Road Bike	Concrete/Asphalt surfaces
F	Fat Tire	Dirt sections not too rough or rocky - Suspension not required.
M	Mountain Bike	Dirt sections may be rocky, rough and steep - at least front suspension very helpful
E	Equestian	Horses may share or cross path in places
C	Closures	Trail may have seasonal closures for habitat
X	Break in Trail	Trail currently has a break in it as indicated.

p	Multi-Use Paths	Multi-Use Paths (Pedestrian/Bicycle)
b	Bike Lanes	Marked bike lanes
w	Wide shoulders	Wide shoulders - bigger buffer zone
n	Narrow shoulders	Narrow shoulders - may dissappear in some places
r	Residential Streets	Residential streets - less traffic
l	Light Use streets	Light Industrial or other lighter use city streets
x	Busy Streets	Busy street use - Extra caution required
d	Dirt / crushers	Dirt sections should drain quickly after rain/snow
m	Mud	Dirt sections may be muddy / don't drain quickly
s	Single Track	Single Track - trail may get very narrow!
		Hikers and horses may share these trails with you.
		Please be courteous and friendly.
		Horses can be nervous around bicycles, dismount if possible.
		Regional trails often have posted speed limits that must be observed.
		Riders going uphill have right of way - keep speed under control especially on corners.
		Trails may also have gates that need to be closed behind you to keep livestock from straying.
		You can be ticketed/fined for not observing trail regulations.
