OSM --- Open Street Map

Several years ago I got involved with the Open Street Map initiative

Since then I've been adding my trails to the map.  Also have added canal networks, open spaces, golf courses, schools, parks, etc. using aerial imagery and info from CDOT & other government websites.  Other work involved aligning countless miles of roads with reality.  (They started with marginally accurate government "Tiger" data.)

The Open Space maps can be added to most Garmin "mapping" GPSr.  Something I want to do with mine to see where there are gaps in data while I'm out pedaling.

Please consider adding trails and other local features into OSM.
